APPLICATIONS

THW-2 building wire is intended for general purpose applications as defined by the USA National Electrical Code (NEC). THW-2 is permitted used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders, and branch circuits in commercial or industrial new construction or rewiring for 600 volt applications. For applications requiring THW-2, the wire is appropriate for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90˚C.
