The Donghai Bridge in Shanghai is the first cross-sea bridge in China and a core supporting project for the Yangshan Deepwater Port of the Shanghai International Shipping Center. It was opened to traffic in 2005, with a total length of 32.5 kilometers. It connects Lu Cha Port in Shanghai Pudong with Xiaoyangshan Island in Shengsi, Zhejiang Province. The total investment was 7.11 billion yuan.
