Moen Electric's production base in Thailand has entered a new stage of standardized and regularized operation.

Date:2026-07-31

As of May 22, 2026, the Thai production base of Morn Electric has entered a new stage of standardized and regular operation, marking the acceleration of the company's global capacity layout and the entry into a new phase of overseas industrialization development. This base is a key overseas core production point that the company has focused on building, and it will mainly serve the overseas markets such as Southeast Asia's new energy and power grid infrastructure, helping the company deepen its international competition and expand its overseas business territory.

The relevant decisions for this overseas layout began on May 24, 2024, when the company held the sixth board meeting of the sixth session and approved the "Proposal on Investing in Establishing an Overseas Subsidiary", agreeing that the company would use its own funds of 10 million US dollars to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhandong Electric Private Limited Company, and a wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhandong New Energy Equipment Private Limited Company in Singapore. With these two Singapore entities as investment carriers, the company will invest in establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhandong (Thailand) Electric Co., Ltd., in Thailand, to build a complete overseas investment and operation framework.

Morn Electric mainly engages in the research, production and sales of wires and cables, as well as high-end electromagnetic wire products. It has a profound industrial foundation and solid comprehensive strength. During the project implementation, the company successfully completed all compliance filing procedures and successively obtained the "Notice of Overseas Project Filing" (No. 67 of 2024 from the Shanghai Free Trade Zone Lingang New Area, Shanghai Free Trade Zone Administration) issued by the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration, the "Enterprise Overseas Investment Certificate" (Certificate No. N3100202400794 from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce), and the registration from the Shanghai Branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. Currently, the three overseas companies in Singapore and Thailand have completed local registration, and the foreign language names of each entity have been officially approved, and the overseas operation framework has been fully implemented.

The construction of this Thai base is a key milestone in the company's promotion of the global strategy, which can effectively approach overseas end markets, avoid trade barriers, continuously enhance the company's international market competitiveness and overseas brand influence, and lay a solid production foundation for the company's overseas business scale development.
