Flexible Mineral Insulated Fire Resistant Cable

Product Introduction

Flexible mineral insulated fire-resistant cable is a high-grade fully inorganic fire-proof power cable, including main series RTTZ, YTTW, BBTRZ and BTLY, rated at 0.6/1kV. It complies with GB/T 34926-2017 and passes the international highest fire resistance standard BS6387. Adopting multi-layer high-temperature resistant mica tape insulation, stranded soft copper conductor and sealed metal sheath, it completely improves the defects of rigid mineral cables such as poor flexibility, moisture susceptibility and excessive joints. With excellent flexibility, ultra-high fire resistance, zero toxic smoke, waterproof performance and ultra-long service life, it is the preferred fire-resistant cable for Class 1 fire protection loads.

Structural Features

The cable adopts a stable multi-layer structure. The stranded oxygen-free copper conductor ensures uniform conductivity, good flexibility and stable connection. The inorganic mica tape insulation can resist high temperature above 1000℃ without melting or carbonizing under open flame. Compact inorganic filling isolates oxygen and prevents flame spread. The outer corrugated metal sheath forms a fully sealed waterproof structure with excellent mechanical strength and can be used directly as a protective grounding conductor. Optional LSZH outer sheath further improves environmental adaptability for humid, outdoor and corrosive conditions.

Core Performance Advantages

The cable achieves superior fire resistance, capable of continuous power supply under extreme fire conditions including long-term 950℃ flame burning, flame with water spraying and mechanical impact. It ensures uninterrupted operation of all fire-fighting equipment during fire accidents.

Made of full inorganic materials, it contains no halogen, produces no toxic gas and no molten dripping during combustion. It maintains high visibility in fire scenes, protects building steel structures and precision electrical equipment, and greatly improves evacuation safety.

With excellent flexibility and small bending radius, it adapts to complex laying routes such as vertical shafts, cable trays, tunnels and curved sections. Extra-long continuous cable length minimizes intermediate joints, reducing hidden faults and construction cycle.

The fully sealed metal structure completely prevents moisture penetration and water tree aging, providing outstanding waterproof, moisture-proof and salt fog resistance. The service life can reach up to 100 years, far longer than ordinary plastic cables.

It delivers stable electrical performance with long-term operating temperature of 90℃ and short-circuit withstand temperature of 250℃. The metal sheath provides reliable electromagnetic shielding without interfering with weak current and fire alarm systems. It also features compression resistance, impact resistance, rodent proof and explosion-proof performance.

Application Scenarios

It is widely used in high-standard Class 1 fire protection buildings, including super high-rise buildings, hospitals, airports, rail transit stations, stadiums, data centers, civil air defense projects, underground utility tunnels and tunnels. It is specially applied for critical emergency power circuits such as fire water pumps, smoke exhaust fans, fire elevators, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems, and is suitable for chemical, metallurgical, coastal, humid and other harsh environments.
