Product Introduction

PV1-F is the mainstream single-core flexible cable exclusively designed for the DC side of photovoltaic power generation systems, rated at AC 0.6/1kV and maximum DC voltage 1500V. It complies with China energy industry standard NB/T 42073-2016, and holds international certifications including TÜV 2PfG 1169, EU EN 50618 and IEC 62930. Manufactured with double-layer electron-beam irradiated cross-linked LSZH polyolefin integrated structure, it outperforms ordinary power cables in extreme outdoor conditions, featuring wide temperature adaptability, UV resistance, ozone resistance, weather aging resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. Internal Structure

The cable adopts a compact three-layer integrated structure without extra filling. The innermost layer is Class 5 stranded tinned oxygen-free copper conductor; fine stranded wires with tin plating prevent copper oxidation in humid outdoor environments, delivering low DC resistance and excellent flexibility against repeated bending and handling fatigue. The middle irradiated cross-linked polyolefin insulation undergoes electron beam modification for superior thermal stability and dielectric strength, resisting long-term DC high voltage without cracking or insulation degradation. The outermost weather-resistant sheath is made of identical cross-linked polyolefin material, tightly bonded with insulation to avoid delamination. Red and black colors mark positive and negative poles separately; the compact surface blocks UV rays, rainwater, dust and acid-base substances, with outstanding wear and tear resistance.

Core Performance Advantages

It operates stably from -40℃ severe cold to 90℃ high temperature year-round, withstanding 250℃ transient short-circuit temperature within 5 seconds. No hardening, embrittlement or shrinkage occurs under drastic day-night temperature fluctuations. Excellent UV and ozone aging resistance prevents surface pulverization and cracking under long-term outdoor exposure, ideal for rooftop and ground-mounted solar farms. The halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant composition restrains flame spread and releases no toxic hydrogen halide gas during combustion for enhanced fire safety. Great flexibility enables easy routing with a minimum static bending radius of 10 times cable outer diameter. It resists humidity, salt fog and soil chemical erosion for long-term operation in coastal, saline and desert areas. The tinned conductor cuts DC transmission loss and maintains stable voltage drop, maximizing overall power generation efficiency of photovoltaic systems.

Application Scenarios

It is applied to all DC wiring segments of photovoltaic power plants: series connection between solar panels, parallel wiring between PV strings and DC combiner boxes, and main DC transmission lines from combiner boxes to inverters. It fits residential rooftop distributed PV, industrial and commercial rooftop stations, large-scale ground-mounted solar power plants and agricultural-PV complementary projects. Multiple installation methods are available including cable tray overhead, conduit routing, shallow trench burial and suspension laying. It works reliably for indoor PV power rooms, open-air yards, frozen northern zones, coastal salt fog areas and northwest intense sunlight desert regions, and is also applicable to low-voltage DC circuits of small energy storage systems.
