Silicone Rubber Insulated Cable

Product Introduction

Silicone rubber insulated cable is a special flexible wire adopting high-temperature resistant silicone rubber as insulation and sheath material, normally rated at 0.6/1kV, complying with GB/T 5013 and IEC 60245 standards. Common models include YGG, YGCP, YGCBP, AGR and AGRP. Benefiting from the unique physical and chemical properties of silicone rubber, the cable features wide temperature adaptability, superior flexibility, aging resistance, ozone resistance and non-toxicity. It is applicable to severe conditions such as high-temperature baking, extreme cold, humid vapor, slight oil contamination and frequent bending, which ordinary cables cannot withstand. It is widely deployed for power distribution and control circuits in industrial high-temperature equipment, metallurgy, food baking, household appliances, metallurgical kilns and chemical high-temperature areas.

Internal Structure

The cable is flexible with excellent bending performance and features a simple and stable layered structure. The innermost layer is finely stranded tinned copper conductor, which resists wire breakage after repeated bending. The tin coating prevents copper oxidation under high temperature and humid conditions, ensuring stable conductivity and low temperature rise under long-term load. The conductor is tightly extruded with high-temperature resistant silicone rubber insulation, which is elastic and uniform in dielectric strength, free from hardening, cracking, melting or adhesion under prolonged high temperature. Flexible silicone rubber filler fills the gaps between cores of multi-core cables to keep round appearance and buffer mechanical stress from vibration and bending. Cables for control signals under electromagnetic interference are equipped with copper wire braided shielding to block external noise. The outermost thickened silicone rubber sheath enjoys great compatibility with insulation material, delivering waterproof, moisture-proof, weather-proof and ozone-resistant performance against temperature fluctuation, UV radiation, light grease and mild acid & alkali erosion.

Core Performance Advantages

It boasts an extremely wide operating temperature range, stably running continuously from -60℃ extreme cold to 180℃ high temperature, with transient peak temperature up to 250℃. It avoids embrittlement in cold weather and softening at high heat, retaining stable performance under cyclic temperature changes, which makes it the priority choice for high-temperature occasions. Outstanding flexibility and small bending radius guarantee intact performance after tens of thousands of reciprocating bends, ideal for wiring of movable and towable equipment. Excellent resistance against aging, ozone and UV radiation prevents pulverization, cracking and hardening during long-term service outdoors or enclosed high-temperature spaces, with far longer service life than ordinary plastic cables. Non-toxic and odorless material releases no harmful volatile substances under heat, satisfying safety standards for food processing and medical equipment. Stable electrical performance with lasting insulation resistance resists corona and humid vapor for safe power supply in steamy environments. It also tolerates oil, mild acid and alkali for slightly corrosive working conditions. Flame-retardant versions feature self-extinguishing property with little toxic smoke during combustion.

Application Scenarios

Power and control wiring around metallurgical plants, heat treatment workshops, kilns and electric furnaces; internal wiring for food baking workshops, disinfection cabinets, frying equipment and medical devices; supporting cables for outdoor equipment in frigid northern areas and cold storage units; connecting wires for heating appliances, electric thermal equipment and high-temperature lighting fixtures; wiring in chemical steam zones, drying ovens and laboratory equipment; cables for frequently movable handheld electric tools; power circuits in high-temperature air ducts and steam engine rooms with heat and humidity.
