Double Fiberglass Covered Wire

Brief Introduction

Double fiberglass covered wire is a type of magnet wire constructed with copper or aluminum conductor as the core. Two layers of alkali-free glass fiber are wrapped bidirectionally in opposite directions around the conductor, then impregnated and cured with high-temperature resistant insulating varnish. Its thicker and tighter insulation layer delivers markedly superior overall mechanical strength and insulating properties compared to single-layer fiberglass covered wire. It serves as a prevalent winding wire for heavy-duty and high-temperature electrical equipment.

Core Features

  1. Thick, compact insulation layer with high dielectric strength and outstanding voltage withstand capability

  2. Great mechanical strength: scratch-resistant, wear-resistant, vibration-proof and shock-resistant

  3. Excellent heat resistance, anti-aging performance, oil resistance and chemical corrosion resistance

  4. Integrated solid insulation structure, resistant to delamination and damage, ensuring high operational reliability

Application Scenarios

Primarily applied for electrical windings in high-power motors, traction motors, dry-type transformers, reactors, electric welding machines, as well as electrical equipment operating under harsh conditions including high temperature, intense vibration and heavy loads.
