1kV及以下架空绝缘电缆
Overhead insulated cables (commonly known as ABC aerial bundled cables) are low-voltage power cables designed for outdoor overhead power distribution networks with a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV. Manufactured in accordance with China national standard GB/T 12527-2008, aligned with IEC 60502 international standards. They serve as fixed overhead trunk lines and service drop wires for households, widely applied in urban and rural low-voltage power grids. Different from traditional bare overhead conductors, the outer insulating layer effectively avoids short circuits triggered by tree branches, birds and wind swing faults, greatly boosting operational safety and cutting routine maintenance workload. Conductors are available in copper, aluminum and aluminum alloy types, matched with PVC, HDPE or XLPE insulation to adapt to diverse climate and load conditions.
JK denotes overhead cable; L stands for aluminum conductor (no L means copper conductor); Y refers to polyethylene insulation; YJ stands for XLPE insulation; V represents PVC insulation. JKV is copper core PVC insulated overhead cable for general overhead laying and household incoming lines. JKLV is aluminum core PVC insulated overhead cable with outstanding cost performance for conventional rural distribution lines. JKY & JKLY adopt HDPE insulation, featuring excellent waterproof and anti-aging performance, fit for mild climate areas. JKYJ & JKLYJ are copper/aluminum core XLPE insulated overhead cables, the mainstream high-performance type for heavy load, high temperature and long-term outdoor operation. JKLHY refers to aluminum alloy core overhead cables, with better tensile strength and sag resistance for long-span overhead laying. Available conductor cross-sections range from 10mm² to 300mm²; single-core, twin-core, three-core and four-core bundled structures are optional.
ConductorCompact stranded bare copper, aluminum or aluminum alloy conductor. Aluminum conductors are lightweight, economical and widely used for long-distance distribution; copper conductors deliver lower resistance and larger current carrying capacity, suitable for short-distance heavy-load service leads. Stranded structure ensures decent flexibility for overhead tension installation.
Insulating LayerThree mainstream insulating materials for selection:
PVC: Continuous operating temperature 70℃, low cost, applied to low-load and short-service-cycle projects;
HDPE: Superior UV resistance, waterproof and ozone resistance, stable under outdoor weather exposure;
XLPE: Premium choice, long-term operating temperature up to 90℃, short-circuit withstand temperature reaches 250℃, low dielectric loss, anti-aging, applicable to hot regions, heavy load and coastal corrosive environments. Carbon black is added into insulation to resist ultraviolet radiation and outdoor aging without extra outer sheath required.
Bundled Assembly (Multi-core ABC Cable)Multiple insulated phase cores and neutral cores are twisted together integrally. Some types are equipped with independent load-bearing messenger strands to bear the overall tensile force, lowering the load on utility poles and adapting to long-distance spanning laying across rivers and valleys.
Rated voltage: 0.6/1kV AC Minimum laying ambient temperature: −20℃ Permissible bending radius: ≥4 times cable outer diameter for cables less than 25mm OD; ≥6 times outer diameter for cables above 25mm OD Temperature limits: PVC insulation: long-term 70℃, short-circuit peak 160℃ PE insulation: long-term 70℃, short-circuit peak 150℃ XLPE insulation: long-term 90℃, short-circuit peak 250℃ Power frequency withstand voltage test: 4kV for 5 minutes without insulation breakdown
Remarkably improved operational safety The closed insulating layer eliminates short-circuit faults caused by tree contact, bird nesting and wind collision; electric shock risks for pedestrians are reduced, and illegal electricity tapping is effectively restrained compared with bare wires.
Excellent outdoor weather durability Insulation with UV stabilizer resists sunlight aging, rain erosion, ozone and salt spray; applicable to high-altitude, coastal humid and forested areas with long service life.
Economical construction & low maintenance Lightweight aluminum conductor reduces pole load, shortens pole spacing and cuts overall construction investment; fault frequency declines sharply, maintenance costs are greatly lowered after grid renovation.
Compact layout & space-saving Multi-core bundled design narrows the line corridor width, perfectly suitable for narrow urban streets and densely populated residential blocks.
Flexible adaptability Various conductor materials and insulation combinations cover light load rural power supply, urban residential distribution, coastal anti-corrosion and high-temperature heavy-load working conditions.
Urban residential low-voltage overhead distribution networks; rural power grid upgrading and electrification projects; household overhead service drop lines from transformers to buildings; temporary power supply for construction sites, scenic spots and events; power lines in mountainous, forested and coastal salt-fog areas; overhead branch lines of industrial parks and small factories.
